Less than a 10 min. walk to the bus station or the ferries. Restaurants and grocery stores available within walking distance. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and the service from Jack and Linda was exemplary. My wife and I would not hesitate to stay again when visiting Bermuda. If you are not going to rent a scooter or make use of taxis then it is suggested that you buy a monthly bus/ferry pass as it makes life so much easier. Using the ferries as an evening cruise around the sound is a very pleasant way to end the day.
We very much enjoyed our stay here. If there is going to be a next time, we will book that place once again. The landlords are very friendly and helpful also giving some nice hints about the things to do in Bermuda. The location is just couple of walking distance to Hamilton, where the majority of restaurants, shops, and the main bus stop are located.
Everything about our stay was perfect. The hosts, Jack and Linda, provided a warm welcome and Jack was so kind to take us to the grocery store for supplies upon our arrival. He also gave us a great tour of the Hamilton area to help us become familiar with our surroundings. The location is very convenient to restaurants and shopping, all within walking distance. Also nearby is the bus and ferry terminals, both provide easy access to most anywhere on the island. The studio apartment was neat and clean and equipped with everything we could possibly need to make our stay enjoyable. Thank you Jack and Linda for your kind hospitality and for offering such wonderful accommodations for a perfect visit.
We had a great trip to Bermuda last week, and Linda and Jack were perfect hosts. Everything we needed was already in the apartment, but our hosts were right there to provide anything else we could possibly need. It was really an effortless stay. The location was private and quiet, spotlessly clean, with a beautiful bath and perfect kitchen space for the two of us. We finished one of our beach days just lounging in the pool. We could walk to town and the buses, which took us anywhere we needed to go. The south side beaches of Bermuda are spectacular, and we were thrilled to spend our 40th anniversary in such a beautiful place. Thank you Linda and Jack!
My wife and I stayed in the Hibiscus Hideaway room this past week and absolutely loved it. It was well equipped with everything we needed and more. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming with plenty of recommendations of places to eat and things to do on the island. We felt very at home and will definitely be returning. Thank you so much Jack and Linda!
Very nice location 10 minute walk to shopping and Restaraunts . Linda and jack are right next door for anything you might need . Apartment fully equipped with anything you might need for cooking . Use of pool during the day . Would definitely stay there again !
My wife and I had a great time staying here. The flat was very clean and it had the perfect amenities to have a home away from home. Jack and Linda are fantastic hosts as well as their two dogs. When we come back we would love to stay there again.
Jack and Linda were very welcoming hosts and gave us lots of helpful tips to enhance our stay. The studio is very comfortable, well equipped with lots of thoughtful touches (hairdryer, beach towels, shopping bags, books, tourist information etc.) Not quite warm enough for us to try the pool, but having a pleasant outdoor space was an added bonus. Being so close to Hamilton makes it easy to visit anywhere on the island by bus/ferry and gives you a huge choice of restaurants if you don’t want to cook at home. Access to the studio is via an outside staircase. There is a handrail and light but it might not be suitable for some people with mobility problems. If this is important, I would recommend you discuss your requirements with the owners before booking.
Unit was as described. Great area, well within walking distance to town, but in a quiet area. Jack and Linda were very friendly and had many helpful suggestions. Would stay here again. Make sure to say hello to Benson!.
My wife and I had a very relaxing 5 days stay. Jack and Linda were excellent hosts and they went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Linda showed us around the apartment when we arrived and their son drove us to a store to pick up groceries. When we were leaving Jack offered to call us a cab and let us check out late as we had a late flight. The apartment is on the second floor and is fully equipped. The place was spotlessly clean. There are brochures including bus and ferry schedules in the room. The apartment is close to town and is about 10 minutes walk from the Hamilton bus and ferry terminals. Taking the bus is a great way to see the island. There is frequent service and you get to meet the locals who are friendly and polite. When was the last time you saw someone board a bus and greet everyone with a \"Good morning everyone\" and get a collective \"Good morning\" back? Although close to town the apartment is in a residential neighbourhood and is very quiet. Thank you Jack and Linda for helping make our Bermuda visit special.
Jack and Linda were so welcoming, they couldn’t have been better. Friendly, knowledgable and most of all extremely welcoming. The apartment has everything you need in Ling a great coffee machine! Jack and Linda also picked up a few supplies from the market so we had some breakfast on our first morning. The info pack email that we sent was invaluable. Thoroughly organised and relaxing experience and we can’t stop raving to our friends already about them and we have only been here 3 days!!! A great start to our two week holiday in Bermuda thank you both sincerely.
Jack and Lynda were the perfect hosts . All information needed was available and some key vitals provided . Stunning pool and beautiful gardens made it a pleasure to take in the sun. Hamilton centre is 10 minutes walk away with its many bars restaurants and shops . We only stayed for 4 nights but would welcome the chance to revisit if our travels bring us back to Bermuda . Simply a wonderful start to the vacation.
This is our second stay at Jack and Linda\'s rental in Bermuda. We love the location (close to town, Hamilton Princess, bus routes, Twizzy rental and much more). The apartment is cozy and comfortable. Highly recommend.
We had a wonderful time. The studio apartment had everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay. Jack and Linda were amazing. They provided us with ideas for sightseeing, restaurants and even best places to shop in Hamilton. Jack even took time out of his day when we arrived to take us grocery shopping. It is a short walk to Hamilton from the apartment. Their pool was beautiful and refreshing after a long day of touring the island. We would love to go back to Bermuda again and this is the place to stay. Thanks again to Jack and Linda for a terrific vacation.
We returned to Bermuda to celebrate our 42nd wedding anniversary where we had honeymooned. We had been back to Bermuda several times and stayed in various locations throughout the years. Hibiscus House was a great alternative to a hotel. The location was about a 10 minute walk into Hamilton with numerous dining options. We decided at our stage in life that our scooter days were behind us. We took the bus and water ferry many times which was easy to navigate. Linda was away and Kristy welcomed us and was most accommodating. The apartment was small but had everything we needed. It was clean and private and we enjoyed falling asleep to the music of the tree frogs. The pool is large and has lots of floats and many seat options. Attention to detail was noticed—beach towels, beach bags, Keurig, washer/dryer, umbrella for the pop up showers and more. We’ll be back!!
