This is a beautiful villa, which is clean and well equipped. There is a fantastic view of the coast from all rooms of the villa. The large, heated infinity swimming pool with pool house and outdoor sound system makes relaxing by the pool a must! The villa is within easy walking distance of the local village, Tourettes sur Loup. The bakery there behind the church makes the best bread ever! The villa is also in a great location for day trips to the coast if you want to spend time on the beaches of Nice and Cannes, but there are some wonderful places to visit in the hills behind, such as Gourdon and Gorges du Loup. Great local markets selling Provençal produce in Tourettes sur Loup and Vence. All in all, a great place for a family holiday. We look forward to coming back soon.
This beautiful well-equipped villa provided us with the perfect location for a very special family holiday. The listing barely does it justice. From the moment I made contact with Bettina, the manager, I knew we were on to a winner. She was both efficient and friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. The views from every room are truly stunning and the enormous swimming pool invites even the most ardent non swimmer to take the plunge. Everything was immaculate and clean and the garden a joy to stroll around. Our stay was full of fun and laughter, we couldn't have been happier and can't wait to return. There is such a wealth of interesting places, villages and restaurants in the area that we hardly had time to scratch the surface of what was on offer. What a find! I would recommend this villa to anyone.
We just wanted a very chilled week away and this was an ideal place - with stunning views from the kitchen, dining terrace and pool. The villa was extremely spacious and well equipped - lovely bedrooms and a large master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a dressing room. I loved the pool, which is cleverly designed with a shallow but very wide shelf at one end which is 3/4 of the pool's width. The rest of the pool is deep enough (even at the shallow end) for keen swimmers and although the details say the pool is 12m long, I think it is closer to 16m long. There is a large pool terrace, and a shaded summer house with a fridge, sink, plastic glasses and comfortable sitting area - and you can play your music through the speaker system. There's plenty of space to sunbathe - either on the numerous terraces for complete privacy, or on the large lawn. We didn't feel any need to drive to the beach! The local scenery is spectacular with one of the many picture postcard medieval villages perched on a steep hill minutes away by car and easily walkable. If you enjoy road cycling it's a great base, with lots of challenging routes on the doorstep along with some less hilly rides. Thank you to Bettina who was very welcoming and incredibly helpful sorting out some new sun loungers for us. I would absolutely recommend this villa - and would love to return one day!
Foreldre, to døtre, to svigersønner og to barnebarn har hatt en superfin ferie i Villa Vue d'Antibes!
We stayed in Villa Vue d"Antibes in the third week of September and had a wonderful time there. The villa is very aptly named, as there are spectacular views out over the hills to the sea from all the rooms and the pool area. The villa itself, on three floors, is spacious and very attractively furnished; we loved looking at all the paintings on the walls, many of which had been painted by members of the owners' family. These, and family photos, gave it the feeling of staying in a family home, rather than a more impersonal rented house. I should add that the house was very clean and the beds comfortable. The garden is well landscaped and extensive, and there were still many flowers in bloom-I should love to see it when the wisteria, roses and lavender are in bloom. The pool is very large with lots of lounging chairs provided. We enjoyed sitting in the covered patio adjacent to the pool and the first floor patio leading out from the kitchen and living room. Great selection of books, DVDs and games for all ages too. The villa is in an excellent location, only minutes from the small village of Tourrettes-sur- Loup. [Within walking distance, but not safe with cars whizzing around bends and no sidewalks for walkers]. We particularly enjoyed the historic medieval centre of Vence. Less so St Paul, as it was overrun with tourists even in late September. The weather was for the most part sunny and mild, but with an autumnal nip in the air. I believe this was the reason why the pool, though heated at our request, never became warm enough to become more than "refreshing" for the adults-though it didn't phase our grandsons who were in the water all the time when we weren't out exploring. Bettina was very helpful and tried her best along with David and a pool technician to make it warmer for us. However that one "negative" did not detract from the pleasure of our stay, and we had a lovely relaxing time there. A big thank you to Bettina and the staff and to the owners for allowing us to stay in their home.
A lovely property with great views and a fantastic pool. The local village is beautiful, as is the surrounding area. The manager of the villa was extremely helpful. overall highly recommended.
10 friends lived here for five days - and had a great stay! The house is spacious and has soul, the pool and outdoor space friendly and the view is seductive. There are good restaurants in the nearby village, but we also made our own dinner in the well equipped kitchen a couple of nights. We recommend heated pool, a great start and end of the day.
The pictures of the house don\'t do it justice! There is a large outdoor eating area outside the kitchen with a wonderful view of the coast. The beds very comfortable and bedrooms cool, we all slept better than usual. I can only recommend this beautiful house. Thank you Bettina and hope to see you again!
We had a wonderful week here in the middle of August. It is well positioned for enjoying both the local villages, mountains and gorges (with wonderful river swimming) and the coast at Antibes and Juan les Pins (and the beautiful isles de Lerins). Tourrettes is lovely and has good shops, cafes and restaurants (including a Michelin starred one). There are great walks and places to run from the villa but you have to go along the quite busy road for a few hundred yards first. You can walk to Tourrettes off the main road but it is quite a long way. The view from the terrace is spectacular, and we enjoyed the BBQ and the amazing music system. Bettina made us feel very welcome and was a mine of information. All in all a fantastic house. I cannot recommend it highly enough. The villa is beautifully designed and furnished and very spacious and cool inside. The master bedroom has a wonderful ensuite bathroom and dressing area and all the rooms open onto the pool area, which is great for early and late swims.
