In the heart of Cannes, 1 min walk to the sea front, 3 min to the festival hall. This stylish and modern apartment is located in the most prestigious area of Cannes: 'Le Carré d'Or'. 5 star hotels, glamorous shops, stylish restaurants and the famous rue d'Antibes are all only minutes away. No need for a car. The ideal place for business people and families on holiday. 
 
LAzur is on the 4th floor of a well maintained classical building. The entrance is elegant and the modern lift is of a very comfortable size. 
The apartment has 3 small balconies. Kitchen and living room are south-west facing. 
 
LAzur is very bright and sunny with open views over roof tops and all the way to the hills as well as the sea. 
There are 2 very quit bedrooms with a total of 4 single beds (convertible into doubles) + 1 double sofa bed. 
All beds are 2m long! 
Last minute enquiries are welcome. Long term rental is possible during the winter season.
 
There is NO space for a baby-bed! Ask about apartment LE NOSTALGIQUE (p97663).
LE NOSTALGIQUE has a baby-bed, high chair, baby cutlery etc. and more space (75m2).

Terms & Conditions

BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The property known as “L'AZUR”, at 8 rue Macé, 06400 CANNES, France is offered for congress and holiday rental, subject to confirmation by the Owner or the owner's PA (personal assistant) to the Renter.
 
2. To reserve the Property, the Renter shall complete a signed BOOKING FORM and return it together with the copy of his/her PASSPORT or ID and a non-refundable deposit (50% of the total rent) due.  
 
Following receipt of the booking form, passport copy and deposit, the Owners will send a confirmation to the Renter. This is the formal acceptance of the booking.
 
3. The balance of the Rent is payable not less than 8 weeks before the start of the rental period. If payment is not received by the due date, the owners reserve the right to give notice in writing that the reservation is cancelled. Reservations made within 8 weeks of the start of the rental period require full payment at the time of booking.
 
4. Should the Renter cancel the reservation more than eight weeks before the start of the rental period, the deposit will be retained by the Owners but no further rental charges will be payable. Should the renter cancel the reservation less than six weeks before the start of the rental period, the full rental charges will be payable. If the Owner is able to re-let the property to the same weekly rental rate, he/she will refund to the Renter 50% of the charges paid. The Renter is strongly advised to arrange a comprehensive TRAVEL INSURANCE POLICY (including cancellation cover) and to have full cover for the group’s personal belongings etc since these are not covered by the Owner’s insurance.
 
5. A returnable SECURITY BOND is required in case of damage to the property, or its contents, and will be payable on day of arrival. However, the sum reserved by this clause shall not limit the Renter’s liability to the Owners. The Owners will account to the Renter for the security deposit and refund the balance due within one week after the end of the rental period. 
 
6. The rental period shall commence on the first rental day at 4pm and end on the last rental day at 10 am, unless previously agreed in writing with the Owners. The Owners aim to be flexible is this respect although it may not always be possible.
 
7. The maximum number of persons to reside in the Property must not exceed 5 people, unless the Owners have given prior written permission.
 
8. The Renter agrees to be a considerate tenant and to take good care of the Property. The Owners reserve the right to make a retention from the security deposit if the Renter leaves the Property in an unacceptable condition or has lost a key. The Renter also agrees not to act in a way that would cause unreasonable disturbance to those residents in neighbouring properties.
 
9. The Renter and the Renter’s group acquire no rights whatsoever over the Property excepting occupation as a Congress / Holiday let for the period booked. The Renter shall not sub-let the Property.
 
10. The Renter should report to the Owners, or the Owners’ Agent, as soon as possible, any defects in the property or any defects in the equipment or appliances in the Property and arrangements for repair or replacement will be made by the Owners at the earliest opportunity.
 
11. The Owner shall not be liable to the Renter:
(a) for any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services to the Property beyond the Owner’s control;
(b) for any loss / damage or injury which is the result of adverse weather conditions, riot, war, strikes or other matters beyond the control of the Owners;
(c) for any loss, damage, or inconvenience caused or suffered by the Renter if the Property shall be destroyed or substantially damaged before the start of the rental period.  In any such event, the Owners shall notify the Renter as soon as possible and refund to the Renter all sums previously paid in respect of the rental period.
 
12. The use of the accommodation is entirely at the Renter’s risk and no responsibility can be accepted for injury to a Renter, member of Renter’s group or visitor and loss or damage to belongings of the Renter, the Renter’s group, or visitor.
 
13. No responsibility can be accepted for any loss or damage to any motor vehicle or its contents.
 
14. Smoking is not permitted inside the Property.
 
15. The bringing of pets on to the Property is not permitted  unless previously agreed.
 
16. Under no circumstances shall the Owners’ liability to the Renter exceed the amount paid to the owners for the rental period.
 
17. All 4 keys (+ 1 remote control if you used the parking) have to be returned on the day of departure!
 
18. Theft by Renters will be reported and the Renter's identity will be released to the local police.
 
19. The owner reserves the right to cancel the booking, should it not have been correctly quoted and coincides
with a convention / event period.
 
20. In the event of a dispute it is agreed that this contract shall be governed by UK law.

Additional Rate details

 payable on arrival and in cash:
150.-E for reception, laundry & end of stay cleaning, this is up to 4 people
Any extra person: 20.-E (once). This is to cover for more laundry
 
350.-E security deposit
this will be returned on day of departure if all ok
 
20.-E per day: parking (on request)
20.-E (once): well behaved dogs are allowed. No cats because of allergies!

Unforgetable stay


Awesome location, very close to the beach, food market, shops, full of light flat, well equipped , including the kitchen, comfortable bed, spacious and good working shower. Special thanks to the manager, Bettina, knowledgeable and caring! Bettina is always eager to go an extra mile for the clients. When I mentioned that I usually sleep on a down pillow and the apartment does not have one, Bettina immediately purchased one for me. Also, quickly arranged a taxi ride to go to Nice airport, when I asked . Looking forward to be back!

Located in the center of Cannes. surrounded by many restaurant and bars. The apartment was very clean, and welcoming. We had an amazing stay in this accomodation. We highly recommend and would come again.

One of the best apartments I have stayed in, in Cannes.


First impressions, the apartment was very clean and functional, living up to all expectations from the photos and reviews from the website. Bettina the host was also super helpful and lovely. She explained how everything worked and where to find useful shops in the local area. My stay ran smoothly, I visited Cannes on business but my family also joined for part of the duration so the apartment functioned both as a great place for business travel. It offers quiet, great location to the Palais, restaurants and bars and there are plug points and a great table to work at. For families, the apartment works well as it is centrally located, near a supermarket, food market, restaurants, the beach and fun fair. Its a quiet place where most levels are held by offices so I dont think children will disturb that many residents. It also has a lift which is a godsend as many apartments I have stayed in do not. Also the air con units are great. Downsides are very small - it would have been nice to have enough toilet roll for the entire stay, but again there is a supermarket close by so this is not major. A bar of soap is also welcomed if the host chooses not to offer small bathroom toiletries. On the whole everything you need is provided and everything you will not need is probably there for you too..just in case!
