Just got back from a week at La Choza and this house was absolutely perfect!! We have 5 kids and this was the best vacation we\'ve ever had. The owner of the house, Raini, was fantastic. She was in touch with my wife via email countless times and gave us advice regarding directions, places to go, even restaurants. She really went the extra mile to make sure we had a great vacation. The house is simply deluxe and has everything you could possibly need. The pool is amazing. The layout is ideal for families and the huge deck overlooking Playa Negra is spectacular. There is only a short walk to one of the best surfing beaches in Costa Rica. Fatima the house keeper was also great as was her husband Jose who looks after the pool and the yard. You can really tell that the owners have thought of everything when constructing this incredible property. I can\'t imagine a better place to stay!!
Excellent house .. we were so impressed! This house was more than what I expected! So spacious in and out . Love the huge wrap around porch. We liked the salt water pool my nephews were amazed with this. The fact that we had service, yes we had a lady that came every morning to clean and yes she was so helpful. The location was nice; I felt secured and the beach was walking distance. I can only give them 5 star I wish I could give them mor because my family and I had the best time here! I looking forward to return again!
Had a wonderful family vacation to Casa La Choza in Playa Negra during the week before Christmas. Adrian, the concierge, was very attentive, both before our trip and during our stay. He worked hard to assist me in planning our itinerary, including pickup at the airport, delivery of an assortment of surfboards for the family to use while we were there, and discussions on our options for dining while at La Choza. During our stay, Adrian was a great resource for booking some wonderful meals by a personal chef, arranging exciting excursions fishing, ziplining, and ATV riding in Guanacaste, and personally showing us some of the best surfing locations (ones only the locals know) that the area had to offer. The house was very accomodating for our large family (7 persons for this trip) and we loved the wraparound porch, saltwater pool, and outdoor shower! A maid come everyday to clean and straighten the house and a gardener come regularly to attend to the beautiful property. The beach was a very short walk from the house where the family had an amazing time surfing. All in all, we couldn\'t ask for more! Pura Vida!
This was just a perfect trip, from start to finish. The house and location are spectacular. Adrian, the house manager was incredibly helpful and accommodating. I am endlessly grateful for all that he did for us and that we were lucky enough to stay at this magical house. It accommodated 2 families with small children perfectly. We had our peace and quite and beauty all around, and if we wanted more action we would take a short walk to Playa Negra hotel to meet more friendly people. We loved the chef services at the house, you can\'t beat dining at the big beautiful table on the porch. We had zero complaints about this trip other than we didn\'t want to leave. We will be back again and again. It\'s hard to find something this special that hasn\'t become too busy or too expensive.
We stayed as Casa La Choza for Spring Break. The house accommodated 2 families with small children perfectly. This was the most idyllic family vacation we have ever had. To start with the house is beautiful and comfortable. Private salt water pool was the icing on the cake. A small walk away is the beautiful beach and a nice hotel if you want access to a restaurant and more people. But you really cant beat eating meals on the deck feeling the breeze and seeing the ocean in the distance. The private chef service was so delicious and an incredible deal. The house manager, Adrian is such a kind, helpful and patient person. He made sure our every need was arraigned for, and I cant say we were low maintenance. It was great having groceries ready for us when we arrived. He set up massages, day trips, transportation, chef services and dinner reservations. We are so lucky to find this place and truly grateful to Adrian for all of his help.
