Description

This pet friendly chalet on a nicely wooded lot is on a quiet road across from the Flat Rocks Conservation Area and the East Branch Saco river. You can hang out on the large deck listening to the sounds of the river. For warm days, there’s a great swim hole 100 yards away (see the river pictures below). When you're ready to head out, North Conway Village and Jackson Village with their shopping and restaurants are both just 5 minutes away. For winter getaways, we're just minutes from the skiing at Attitash, Wildcat, Cranmore, and Black mountains. We are open to winter seasonal rentals.
 
With 4 bedrooms and 6 beds we can accommodate up to 9 guests comfortably. There's a large dining room table and well equipped kitchen for cooking in and great restaurants nearby if you want to eat out. If the weather is cool or you're just looking for some extra ambiance the fireplace (firewood included) may be just the thing.
 
The home and location are well suited to families and quiet groups looking to enjoy the beauty and numerous activities available in the Mount Washington Valley. There is a small sloped side yard but it’s a rough surface so kids will find better areas to play in the conservation area across the street and along the river. Note there is a full set of exterior stairs to the first level of the home and the living area is on the second level.
 
We want your stay to be as relaxing as possible so the rental includes all linens and basic supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap).

3rd bedroom: Twin over full (futon) bunk, TV and DVD

Great location. Everything we needed.


Peaceful and quiet location. We enjoyed listening to the river from the deck. The kids enjoyed Storyland just a few minutes up the road. Rick was a great host, quick to respond to any request before and during our stay. Would love to stay here again.

Property was exactly as the pictures and description would lead you to expect.


This property was exactly what we expected. Rick was very pleasant to work with and the home came with more than we needed as far as TV, cooking/baking materials, toiletries, bedding etc. Our stay included two adults and two children plus a few house guest throughout the week and there was always plenty of room.

great family vacation spot.


We brought our two year old and two dogs for a mountain vacation and this rental was perfect. Rick is so accommodating and anything we could possibly need was there. Very convenient to main sightings and very easy to get too. Two thumbs up! This will be our family vacation spot from now on.

Spacious property with everything at your fingertips.


We enjoyed staying here. Everyone found it to be quite comfortable and spacious including our lab/shepherd. The location is perfect! We couldn\'t ask for more with easy access to the river being right across the street, to the close proximity to our favorite town, North Conway. Rick and his wife make sure that the place is stocked with necessities. Communication was perfect. He sent a message a few days before with instructions and contact information. Check in and out was flawless! It was easy to obtain the keys. It was as if it was our own vacation home!

Quiet cabin by the creek


Nice clean cabin, warm comfy bed for chilly nights. Road out front lightly used, set back in trees and quite private. Upper deck great to relax and listen to creek and chipmunks. Close to town but still off the beaten path. Had a great time with the pup, was even warm enough to go swimming in the awesome creek across the street.

Love, Love, Loved it!!!!


We were so pleased with this rental, from start to finish. Rick (the owner) was so responsive and accomodating; it was truly a pleasure to deal with him. The home itself was spotless, well laid out, quaint and comfortable. Even our super sized doggy\'s enjoyed themselves, and had plenty of room to boot! The location was PERFECT! Out of the way enough to bask in the beauty of surrounding nature, yet close enough to shopping and other activities. We also truly appreciated the home being fully inventoried with everything we needed, especially linens, staple items and a fully stocked kitchen. If you\'re thinking about renting this home; don\'t hesitate - at all!!
