Guest will be renting the full apartment. Check-in/out service, daily cleaning and other services are available. La Joyita is one block from Malecon offering ocean view from every room. It's walking distance to Riviera and Cohiba Hotels, multiple local restaurants and entertainment venues.
 
WIFI: Cuba doesn't have internet service available for houses. You can buy prepaid internet card at any Hotel, airport, or tourist place. It is convenient to buy the Wifi card from Riviera or Cohiba Hotel and connect from the hotel lobby.
 
Interaction with guests
 
La Joyita is a family vacation home privately owned and operated by friends and family members. The property manager and service providers are available 24/7 to help you with every need.
 
An Information Package will be provided containing useful tips and directions to popular tourist attractions, music venues, museums, beaches, restaurants, and services that we can arrange for you.
 
Pick-up and drop-off from Havana or Varadero airports with local drivers can be arranged. Price is determined by service provider considering number of people, airport, and time.
 
Other things to note
 
Joya means "Jewel" and since we, Cubans, add ‘ito’ or ‘ita’ to everything to show our love or appreciation ‘La Joyita’ was born. Other services available are private chauffeur, in-house chef, food and drink menu serviced to your dining table, babysitting, laundry, photos, local art for sell, private tours, and grocery delivery service.

Great !


Great location in Vedado. Walking distance to the Malecón and bars/restaurants in the area. Clean and well-furnished apartment. Had a great time staying there!

Good appliances in the house and the little things like coffee maker etc the air con was a great help as it kept you cool after a day in havana not far from hotels where you can change money and get internet too as well as just being along road from cars to take you into havanna

The taxi was on time and had a huge sign for us, they changed the sheets and refilled the toilet paper, her neighbor Maite went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, the location was near a pool that was only 5CUC a day which was totally worth it in July, and most importantly you can walk to the Hotel National which was outstanding. It also doesn\'t hurt that Marjorie is a phone call away for American Visitors. The apartment was very quaint and enough for 5 people especially because the bathroom was in the middle of both rooms extremely convenient lay out! Worth every penny. Be prepared to not watch TV and bring all of your MP3s ready to play.

Enjoyed Our Stay


We truly enjoyed staying at Marjorie\'s home. It\'s perfectly located and walking distance from the Malecon, hotels and great restaurants! Fidel and Maite were our host during our arrival and they were truly amazing. Fidel was very informative of the area and places to visit. He also helped coordinate the Airport pickup which was extremely efficient and safe. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Havana! Thank you Marjorie, Fidel and Maite!

This place was amazing! From the excellent location to Maite\'s cooking, everything about the place was perfect. I would highly recommend this place. If you need any help with arranging tours to surrounding areas, please talk to Marjorie. She was excellent and very responsive.
