Our house is a five minutes walk from the beach and a 5 minutes ride to both Teeth of the Dog, The Links and Country Club golf courses. We are also very conveniently situated to visit the charming Altos de Chavon or the Marina and its shops and restaurants.
Situated in a beautiful garden surrounded by spectacular trees, planted with orchids, cactii and many other tropical plants..Relax after a day of swimming, exploring or golfing in the beautiful nature jacuzzi or have dinner under the stars in the patio. The house is lovingly decorated with objects and furniture brought from our travels.
Our cook and maid will make it their pleasure to pamper you during your stay.
We were looking for a relaxing get-a-way. Our experience far exceeded our expectations. The villa is spacious with a most beautiful decor. The furnishings and decorative touches made the villa very comfortable and charming. The central location between the main hotel and the marina was very convenient. Being only a short walk to the beach and Beach Club restaurant was also a big plus. The landscaping and gardens were just beautiful. The highlight of our week was the villa staff. We absolutely fell in love with Delia and Juana. They were so friendly and helpful. They maintained a clean and spotless villa. The quality of the food preparation was fantastic. We really hated to leave them when our vacation ended. We are going back next year and would never consider staying anywhere else at Casa de Campo.
This was our second weeklong stay at the house. We are a family of five with three young kids. Obviously we liked the house enough to come back a second time so that speaks for itself. The home is in a fantastic location just across the road from the beach. It is also a short drive to the Marina as well as the tennis courts. The house itself is tastefully decorated with plenty of space for our family. There are several sitting areas indoors and out which is nice so everyone can have space and are not stuck in one area. The two women who work in the house are wonderful. Juana cooks terrific dominican food and is a very pleasant woman. Dahlia is also very nice and keeps the house very clean and well maintained. They don\'t speak English so hopefully someone in your group speaks some spanish. It does get a bit buggy with Mosquitos in the house so bring your repellant though this is probably common around casa de campo. Overall I give the house five stars for the location, value, and the help.
We just loved our stay and I think of this place often and want to return again - the ladies of the house were excellent cooks that we didn\'t even care to go out for any meals. The comfort and collective beauty of the home made the experience so delightful. The beach was just a quick walk across the street and the tiki bar on the beach was very well kept and not over crowded.
We spent a week in December at the house. We are a family of 5 with three young children. The home is beautifully maintained by the sweetest and helpful two women - Ilsia and Delia. We had every meal catered to and ate outside under a picturesque pergola. While I was a little under the weather, Ilsia and Delia thoughtfully made me some fresh lemonade daily until I got better. The house is directly across from the beach and not a far drive from the Marina. It has plenty of room and a very indoor/outdoor feel since the plantation shutters/doors line the main living area - perfect for enjoying the balmy breeze. The bedrooms are air-conditioned which is great at night to keep the mosquitos at bay. You can\'t get a better location/staff for the value!
Very pleasant stay. House is very well kept and beautifully decorated. The staff was incredible they could have not been any nicer. We Intend to come back..
We had the best, best stay. Our whole family enjoyed your home so much, and the ladies were so sweet and kind to my mother-in-law. It could not have been a better vacation and I hope that we can do it again one day.
