Located in the lovely private community of Bear Creek Lake, this charming ranch home invites you to a peaceful getaway in the magnificent Pocono mountains, while also providing you with access to many local attractions if you’re also seeking an active holiday. 
 
This beautiful home is surrounded by trees. It has that fresh feeling that comes from recent construction and the loving care of its owner. A little piece of heaven. 
 
Sitting quietly in the woods, Bear Creek Lake is a charming community replete with amazing amenities. You’ll have access to a 160 acre lake with three miles of shoreline and two beaches (lifeguards provided during summer months). The lake is perfect for fishing and swimming. You can also enjoy kayaking and canoeing nearby.  There is a heated 0lympic size pool and a wading pool, tennis courts, shuffleboard, bocce court, regulation softball field, basketball courts, volleyball courts, picnic areas and playground. Access to all of these amenities is complimentary with your stay, and most are within walking distance of this property (including the south beach, the pool, tennis/basketball/volleyball courts, picnic area, and the playground).
 
This is truly a year-round destination. A large binder is located in the property, giving you brochures and contact information for the many local establishments.

A Fantastic Experience


From the moment of booking and the first communication with the owner, George, it became obvious that this was going to be a great stay - and it didn\'t disappoint. The house is lovely and in a great location, near enough to town and facilities but also fairly private. We were delighted to see they had decorated for Christmas including a tree. George was extremely helpful throughout. We would thoroughly recommend it.

Relaxing, charming home in quiet neighborhood.


Lovely quiet neighborhood, clean and well appointed house with all the necessities, big kitchen, comfortable beds and furniture and spent many hours on the screened porch. Good communication with owner. Good location to bicycle the rail trail or go into town for an Annie\'s Ice Cream.

Beautiful Home


I spent 2 nights at the cottage with my family of 6; we have 2 small children ages 2yrs and under, as well as 2 pre teens. Since the day we booked the reservation the owner George initiated communication and provided his contact information. The home was very clean and smelled deliteful upon entry; very important factor for those traveling with little ones. The home was so well stocked, I didn\'t even need to pack half of the items that I did. We were surprised to have been provided with courtesy items such as a full supply of ice, condiments in the fridge, coffee filters and coffee, as well as shampoos, soaps, night lights, games ... you name it, it was there. Having access to the garage made it very easy to unload our luggage and supplies. The children really enjoyed having meals and just hanging out on the screened in porch. We saw deer in the backyard within minutes of our arrival. My husband used the gas grill for dinner both nights. The beds were very comfortable and all of the rooms were a descent size. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. Although our goal was to just have some family hang out time at the home, we did leave to check out a nearby icecream parlor called Scoops. By far the best ice cream I\'ve ever had in life. And anyone from NY would certainly notice the price in comparison to what we would pay for a similar item. If you had to walk to get some, it would be worth every step. Since the cottage was just one stop in our vacation itinerary, having access to the washer and dryer made a huge impact. I highly recommend this home!
