It's a beautiful walk or bike ride along the ridge overlooking the golf course to the river and across to Sun Valley Resort.

Summer offers endless options. There's a wonderful hiking trail just at the end of the street. The ice rink is a cool and magical place to spin around or simply watch the professional skaters practicing. 10 min away by car is world class trout fishing. Up the highway about an hour is a lodge and miles of cross country skiing in summer and hiking in winter. Red-fish Lake is about 1 and 1/2 hour for all kinds of water sports and Stanley just up the road from there offers white water rafting.

In winter you can cross country ski from your door down to the golf course and over to the Nordic Center for lunch or to beautiful Trail-creek Restaurant, formerly Hemingway's hunting lodge, for dinner. Or opt to take the horse drawn wagon through the snow.
