Or take a walk to the beach and see the fishermen.

The railway station to Lisbon and Cascais is at a 10 minutes walk. It connects you also to the huge Oeiras Shopping Centre by the futuristical SATU - the automatic urban transport system.

Hot water in the bathroom comes from the heater in the kitchen fuelled by gas. The kitchen has a gas cooker for two pans and an electric boiling ring for a third. There is also a refrigerator, a microwave and all the basic equipment that you need for cooking and eating simple meals. An espresso-coffee machine was added to the kitchen and there is an automatic bread-toaster.

In the apartement itself you find a big hall surrounded by a spacious living room, an also spacious kitchen, a bathroom and 2 bedrooms. The bedrooms have 2 single beds that you can easily join together into 1 double bed. All beds are provided with orthopedic matrasses and anti-alergic pillows and quilts. The sofa in the living room is convertible into a very comfortable double bed.

The 3 rooms and bathroom are equipped with electric heating, very comfortable for the winter evenings. In the living room and in the kitchen you find a round table each with 4 chairs.

Outside you find on the other side of the street all the shops you need for your daily necessities. Take advantage of the numerous pastelarias, so typically Portuguese, for your daily dosis of cafeine or even a complete lunch or take away meal. For a more elaborated culinary experience you find your restaurants in the old city centre of Pao de Arcos. If you want to eat as a Portuguese amongst the Portuguese, do not miss the 'Solar da Loba': in the street turn right and imediately left again, you'll find the restaurant at the end of that street on your left. They serve good quality at practically no costs and it is the best place to be when watching the Portuguese national football team.
