Castagni d'Oro can be a charming old hill-top hamlet home, constructed around 1670 in authentic Tuscan design, with heavy rock walls, chestnut beams, cotto tiled floorings and stone stairway, etc. Conventional green shutters enable the cooling hill breezes throughout the home while keeping the warm summer sun outside. The home hasn't been destroyed, reconstructed or renewed, merely modernised when needed, as much of the edifice is first. There's a big fireplace plus a log burner downstairs which can be lighted all winter, which makes it comfortable and comfortable for skiing breaks. Visitors can also utilize the sitting area when they desire.
Free Wi-Fi comes in all areas and outdoor.
The guestrooms are large with large beamed ceilings, double / twin bedrooms with quality linen and also have amazing vistas of the town as well as mountains. LCD tvs get complete Britishand German tv and radio and you will find tea and espresso making facilities, cookies and water supplied free within the areas.
There's a sunlit patio with chairs and dining table that's ideal for a glass of something chilling as well as an al fresco dinner. The backyard is smooth and level and ideal for tanning, with shade from trees and has amazing views down to the area below and across in the rugged Apennine hills.
Parking is personal and secure in our very own drive and there's a secured garage for storage of motorcycles, motorcycles and skiing equipment.
There's a pub within the town that also offers Tuscan kind foods, but should you don't need to eat out each night, we may supply straightforward three course evening meals with complimentary wine and espresso for just 18 pounds each. Also packed dinners for 4 pounds.
The Blue Room: The blue area looks out over landscapes towards the piazza within the center of the hamlet, with treecovered hills behind, over the roofs. The area is ample with a large, beamed roof, and contains a desk and chairs. The TELEVISION gets accurate English satellite tv and stereo, and you will find tea, coffee and cookies.
The Red Area: The Red Area is ample with high, beamed roof plus a fabulous view down to the lake valley as well as on to the high rugged hills. Accurate British satellite stereo and TV with LCD TVs, tea, coffee and cookies and complimentary toiletries.
