The vacation rental apartment has been recently renovated to a very high standard and beautifully decorated in traditional Ottoman colours of Turquoise (Firuze in Turkish) and tones of red. Beautiful Turkish rugs and an antique carpet decorate the solid oak floor. The decor and furnishing is a fusion of middle eastern and contemporary western, duplicating the spirit of Istanbul, where west meets east.
Firuze Apartment is a 135 m2 Luxury 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom (with additional ensuite shower), 2nd floor apartment within an impressive and prominent 19th century registered historic building on the famous Galipdede Street, close to Galata Tower, Istiklal Street and Tünel Square. It can accommodate up to 8 guests (6 in beds).
It is equipped with every modern day amenity including fully equipped kitchen, Jacuzzi bathtub, steam shower, flat screen TV with satellite channels, central music system with DVD/CD player, high speed wireless internet.
The huge roof terrace of the building has magnificent views of the old city, where both the sunrise over the Bosphorus and sunset over the Golden Horn can be enjoyed.
Prior to the recent renovation, the apartment was the music studio of the late Kazım Koyuncu, famous Turkish singer.
Payments:
A deposit of 40% of the total payment is required in order to guarantee the reservation. The deposit can be made either by a valid credit card or by bank transfer.
Guests wishing to pay by credit card will be charged 40% of the total amount due upon booking and the remainder 5 days prior to arrival. There will be a 4% credit card administrative charge. Alternatively the deposit can be made by Credit card and the second payment can be made by cash (EUR, USD, GBP or TL) on check-in.
Guests wishing to pay in cash are required to send the 40% deposit by bank transfer (EUR, USD, GBP or TL). All
bank wire fees (outgoings & incoming) must be paid by the sender. The balance of the payment can be either paid on arrival in cash (EUR, USD, GBP or TL) or sent by bank wire transfer 5 days prior to arrival.
Any outstanding payments that have not been received 5 days prior to check-in shall be paid on arrival in cash. (EUR, USD, GBP or TL).
Credit card used for booking and payments must be produced at the time of check-in.
Security Deposit:
All guests are required to give a valid credit card details as a security deposit in case of cancellations, and in the event of any damage or loss made by the guests to the apartment or any appliances, furniture, upholstery, kitchen utensils, linens, towels, keys, etc., and for phone charges other than local landline phone calls.
Calls made to mobile phones or overseas will be charged at cost to the guest\'s credit card upon receipt of the monthly telephone bill. In case of loss or damage to the property and its contents the guest shall pay the current market price of the loss or damage.
The credit card shall not be used for any other purpose by the owner/manager of the apartment. An Invoice shall be provided prior to any debit.
The guests agree to leave the property in the same state as when they entered the property.
From 1st of December to end of February (excluding Christmas period and special events) rates are reduced to 180 Euros per night and 1197 Euros per week. At Christmas period the rate is 230 Euros per night.
