Here you can expect to have a memorable nature experience. For those keen to spot the local wildlife, dusk and dawn are optimum viewing times and it is common to come across wallabies, wombats, echidnas, goannas and an amazing array of birdlife. Wander down to the Kangaroo Valley River which flows beneath our property, through the macrozamias and banksias and forget that stress was ever part of your life. If you are very quiet you may see a platypus, or water dragons, but certainly a canoeing enthusiast.
Allow yourself time to relax, read a book, or stroll through our Olive grove and taste extra virgin olive oil grown right here at Banksia Park. For those that love animals, meet Miss Millie the pig, our carrot loving donkesy and friendly sheep on arrival. Our pets love your scraps and attention, and the hens will reward you with farm fresh eggs. Feel free to bring the other loved one in your life as we are pet-friendly, – though we do prefer that dogs remain outside the cottage on their own undercover balcony. Also available on our property are BBQs, campfire facilities and bike riding. Take advantage of the property being accessible to nearby canoeing and kayaking on the Kangaroo River, golf, whale watching, wineries tours and tasting.
