Mon Logis was built as a terrace house in the 1860s. This colonial building was extended into a private hotel in 1915 and was one of the few buildings to survive the 1931 earthquake. In 1991 it became Mon Logis ('My Lodge'), recreating the traditional French boutique hotel in Hawke's Bay.
