In English: The Gruyere is a scenic and gorgeous landscape, located on the countryside of Fribourg. The region is, although very scenic, it has been completely protected from mass tourism. It is famous for it's milk products, e.g. Gruyere Cheese and the Cailler chocolate worldwide. You have the possibility for all out-door-activities. Sport and leisure activites; in a few minutes drive, you will reach the Alpine Ski regions of Moléson, Charmey and La Berra.
In German: Das Gruyère ist ländlich geprägt und bekannt durch die hervorragenden Milchprodukte (Gruyèrzer Käse, Cailler Schokolade). Das Gebiet ist, obwohl landschaftlich sehr attraktiv, vom internationalen Tourismus weitgehend verschont. Sämtliche 'outdoor-activities' sind möglich. Sport- und Freizeitmöglichkeiten: In wenigen Minuten sind die alpinen Skigebiete Moléson, Charmey und La Berra erreichbar.
