Aultbeithe (pronounced awlt-bay, the Gaelic for Birch Burn) is located at the end of the road, overlooking Loch Dalbeg and 100 metres from this wonderful sandy beach – serene on a calm day and awesome when it’s wild! The house will be available from mid-June 2008. It will be equipped to the highest standard and we anticipate gaining a 5-star rating from VisitScotland, just like Caberfeidh – our other house on the Isle of Harris. Two bedrooms, one king-size and one twin, will sleep four in comfort. The spacious open-plan living, kitchen-dining area has stunning views over the loch and lets out onto decking in front of the house.
