Nestled in a forest of pine and birch trees, “Sundown Lodge” is a cozy mountain retreat in Roslyn Ridge, a quiet vacation home community with views of nearby mountains. It’s a great place to relax and an outdoor enthusiast’s paradise year round. Set in the beautiful Central Cascades, you’ll enjoy snow in the winter and plenty of sun in the summer.
Roslyn Ridge is located minutes from the historic town of Roslyn. You’ll find an abundance of outdoor trails for hiking or mountain biking, rivers for rafting or fishing (contact local companies for organized trips) and nearby Lake Cle Elum for boating, sunbathing, and beach cookouts. You can also revel in the mountain scenery in the hot tub or Olympic-size outdoor pool at the Roslyn Ridge Activity Center. The world-class Suncadia resort is nearby, featuring golf courses, spa services, restaurants, and stunning views. In the winter you’ll find multiple resources for snowmobiling, cross country skiing, or snowshoeing.
The cabin has plenty of space – it’s great for gatherings of family and friends. The two main floor bedrooms each have a queen bed. In the upstairs sleeping loft, there are an additional two queen beds for a total sleeping capacity of eight. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and in the living area you’ll find a flat screen TV with cable, pine furniture and artwork with an “Old West” theme. You will also enjoy free WiFi access.
The cabin is set on one of the larger, more private lots in the community. It features a large park-like backyard area with picnic table and an above-ground fire pit and gas BBQ, perfect for evening campfires or dining al fresco. Deer and elk are frequent visitors near the wooded area behind the cabin. The cabin’s wraparound porch is great for watching the wildlife or taking in the sun.
