Loon Lodge was recently remodeled from top to bottom and offers an open, airy floor plan with a great view of the lake. As one of our two larger lakefront homes, Loon Lodge sleeps 16 in eight bedrooms. Step through double French doors into a large great room / dining room, which is open to the kitchen. Several couches surround a stone fireplace and with the flick of a switch you can instantly get cozy by the gas fire. On the other side of the room is a large oak dining room table that opens large enough to seat 16 people.
The newly remodeled kitchen extends off the great room and features new appliances and cabinets stocked with matching dishes, silverware, glasses (wine, water & coffee) and Calphalon pots and pans. Two coffee pots and an oversized toaster will help with the morning breakfast crowd. Two bedrooms are on the first floor; the first has a queen log bed and the second has a double bed. Each bedroom features a dresser, chair, nightstand, lamp, overhead light and fan. A freshly remodeled bath completes the first floor.
There is a small deck off the kitchen and a large oversized covered porch that runs the full length of the house lakeside. A picnic table, rocking chairs and a stainless gas grill completes the outdoor area.
The second floor offers six bedrooms; twin beds are offered in two bedrooms and the remaining four rooms each have a double bed. As with all our bedrooms there is a chair, nightstand, dresser, lamp, overhead light, and fan in each room. Crisp quilts and electric heat keeps each bedroom cozy on cool Adirondack nights. A second bathroom completes the second floor.
