Welcome to a unique experience at Hungry Ghost Guest House, a small bed and breakfast with an "active retreat" feeling. Located on 20+ wooded acres at the base of the Mohonk Mountain Preserve, you will be yards away from the rail trail and only minutes from Minnewaska State Park. We take pride in serving an organic vegan breakfast to our guests, incorporating mainly local ingredients. Our first guest room has a queen-sized pewter bed with white cotton linens and hypo-allergenic down pillows and comforter. It has a walk-in closet, a large bureau, and an antique rocking chair. It is a soft and relaxing sage green. Our second guestroom has a full-sized iron bed with white cotton linens and hypo-allergenic down pillows and comforter. It has a skylight, a large closet and a small bureau. It is a cheerful shade of deep lilac. It is the smallest of our guest rooms. Our final guest room is the largest of our rooms and is air-conditioned. It is located on the second floor, accessible via a spiral staircase. This room has two beds. The first is a queen-sized gunmetal bedframe with white and ivory cotton linens, hypo-allegenic down pillows and comforter. The second bed is a twin-sized daybed with a quilted cotton coverlet. There are two small bureaus and an antique upolstered bench. There is no closet; however, accomodations have been made for hanging garments. The room is a cozy cappuccino color. We refer to this room as the tree house.
Rooms currently range in price from $115 - $160 per night and include a full vegan breakfast, unlimited tea and filtered spring water. On occasion, desserts will be served in the evenings. Refrigerator available.
