Description

Visitors to Central Hawkes Bay come for many reasons and always vow to return on departing, many have. I have also catered for equestrian visitors who come from the United States to take advantage of our local expertise.

There are weddings, parties and all manner of family occasions which give an excuse to enjoy the rural atmosphere. Many of my guests are "Free Independent Travellers" who spend a portion of each year exploring the world and are attracted to Central Hawkes Bay as an alternative to a city stay. I am just 30 minutes from the vineyards, restaurants and tourist attractions of Hawkes Bay so there is certainly something for everyone.

From the Ruahine Ranges in the West to the white sandy surf beaches in the East you are indeed very spoiled for choice. Native birds with their delightful tones are here for all to hear and I am justifiably proud of the beautiful pastoral countryside. A quick walk in virgin native bush is available on the short drive to the coast with the opportunity to see and hear our native Wood Pigeons and Fantails. Day tramps in the Ranges can be arranged also, where the views go on for ever and the air is crystal clear.
