Wheatsheaf cottage was originally the miller's cottage and barn on theEstate. Vaulted oak beamed ceilings, thick welsh slate window sills and doublefrench doors leading out onto a brick paved terrace overlooking theview down to the valley make this a stunningly beautiful holiday property.
The cottage is centuries old and most of the really unusual featureshave been retained, including some arrow slit windows, a huge liftingwheel and a beautiful original exterior stone staircase. The "Great Room" features a woodburner with a plentiful supply of logs, highvaulted ceiling and original stone floors. The conservatory/sunroomis a great place to relax in as it overlooks the adjacent water garden. It does contain a day bed and therefore will accommodate a 5th person.
