Appaloosa Lodge and Bleddfa View are luxurious, spacious log cabins which are situated at the end of a track next to the Radnor forest in Mid Wales, a perfect place for walkers, cyclists, horse riders and those who just want to relax in the peace and quiet of a rural location. Each lodge has their own enclosed, well-fenced garden area and access to a fenced shared paddock area of three acres with direct access to the forest. A locked shed is provided for storage. There is private car parking space for two cars for each Lodge. There is grazing for horses next to the cabins or stables at the Cottage if you prefer. We welcome well behaved dogs but please be aware that sheep graze the fields and therefore we ask that dogs be kept on a lead if they are out of the cabin area. Each lodge has a barbeque area and a set of garden tables and chairs to sit, sip a drink and enjoy the summer sun. The stylish hot tubs are situated at the front of the cabins, under a lit canopy, low to the ground to enable you to enjoy the views and the night sky whatever the weather. There is no light pollution in the area and so a good view of the stars at night can be enjoyed. The entrance to the lodges are ramped to enable easy mobility and lead into a well-equipped utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. There is plenty of room to hang your outdoor clothes, dry your wellies and clean the dog! Both lodges are decorated and equipped to a high standard and we would ask that dog owners keep their pets out of the bedrooms and out of the hot tubs!
Each cabin has two bedrooms with beds that can be arranged as one super-king size or two single beds. Both rooms boast a flat screen television with free-sat, dressing table, wardrobe and bedside tables with lamps and alarm clock. Hairdryers are provided in each room. You can dim the lights to match your mood. One bed-room in each lodge has an en-suite shower room, with enclosed shower, sink, toilet and heated towel rail. Good quality bedding and towels are provided. The open plan living and dining area is next to the kitchen. This large and spacious area has patio doors with views down the valley and a large window looking across the hills. Each cabin has a flat screen television with free-sat and a DVD player with built in surround sound. A selection of DVD’s and books are on the bookcase for your enjoyment. If you prefer your own music there is an i-pod dock. There are two sofas, one of which can convert to a double bed for guests if required. A log burning stove in the corner provides a focus for the room and its flickering fire gives off a warm and cosy glow, complimenting the central heating.
