At the mouth of the East River on Mobjack Bay in the quaint village of Mobjack, enjoy a new home surrounded by water with gorgeous views. Relax on the deck or enjoy kayaking from the cottage's own beach.
A 200 ft. pier provides access to the water for crabbing, watching the osprey nest, or enjoying the river view.
The 1800 sq. ft. cottage was completed in 2004 and features a first floor master bedroom suite with private bath. The gourmet kitchen boasts views of the water on three sides and is integral to the large great room. The second floor has two large bedrooms, one with a full size bed, and one with twin beds. The second floor also has a quiet sitting area with wonderful views for your escape.
Enjoy a walk around the quaint and friendly village of Mobjack and imagine arriving here by steamboat on its passage from Norfolk to Baltimore in the not so distant past. The cottage is a great base for daytrips to Colonial Williamsburg, Yorktown, or Busch Gardens - and know that the peace and serenity of the river will be there when you return from your excursion.
Your boat can be moored at our marina and the cottage has it's own two person kayak for your enjoyment.
