Welcome to the Ellmann House, Door County's premier home rental for the visitor looking for something special. Located in the heart of Door County, Wisconsin in the historical district of Fish Creek, this Four Bedroom Home with a magnificent Porch wrapping around three sides of the house offers wonderful vacation lodging. The Ellmann House was built in 1892 of materials shipped by steam ship and then hauled by hand to its hill side building site overlooking the village. The house was the summer home of Clarence Darrow for five years. You can walk nearly any where in Fish Creek from the Ellmann House for shopping, art galleries, restaurants, the beach, Sunset Point, the docks and more. Available year round, winter visitors will find cross country trails just out the front door.
A $50.00 deposit (returned approx. six weeks after check-out).
Sales Tax (5.5%) plus Local Room Tax (5.5%).
Cleaning deposit of $50.00 which covers 3.5 hours of cleaning. Any additional cleaning will be billed to you at $15.00 per hour from your deposit, any additional amount over the deposit will be billed.
The 40% deposit is non-refundable.
The nightly or weekly rate. Weekly rate is $1400.00, nightly rate is $275.00 with two night minimum (except Labor Day, Memorial Day, Winter Fest, Fall Fest, Pumpkin Patch, and New Years weekend which are a three night minimum). The house is rented only by the week from Memorial Day weekend until the last week of August (Sat.-Sat.). The rest of the year it is open for either weekly or nightly rental.
