Description

Butternut Lake Lodge is located on the northeast shore of Butternut Lake approximately three miles northwest of Park Falls in Price County, Wisconsin. The facility consists of a refurbished 1940's log home and a log outbuilding complex of four luxury suites, each of which has been spectacularly decorated in a unique individual room theme. Butternut Lake Lodge has been created for large groups of business clients (up to 24 individuals) whose requirements are not fully satisfied by typical north woods cabins or resort facilities. The lodge and/or individual suites are available for small groups; however, best value can be realized by large related groups (family/business/university/etc.) that then enjoy exclusive use of the private facilities and grounds. The lodge will sleep up to eight persons in three bedrooms with two full baths. The lodge is situated on high ground overlooking the Narrows of Butternut Lake. A large patio and separate boathouse observation deck afford stunning lake views. The spacious grounds offer fire rings, complete with a stock of seasoned firewood, a regulation size sand volleyball court and horseshoe pits. The management of Butternut Lake Lodge can assist in arranging local fishing/hunting guide services, golf at one of the area courses, casino trips or any other of the many local diversions that the area offers. Try a 'Cast & Blast' Musky and Grouse combo in October or a Snowmobiling/Cross Country Skiing/Ice Fishing package in January. Be it family Thanksgiving in November or corporate planning meetings in May, Butternut Lake Lodge can help make it happen in style!

The lodge kitchen has been designed and built for efficient food preparation for group's large or small. Two full size ovens, a five-burner gas cook-top, microwave and a warming drawer provide ample food preparation capacity. A complete suite of cookware, stemware and place settings facilitates formal large group dining or informal buffet style meals. A large sink, heavy-duty disposer and dishwasher make for easy cleanup. Outside catering services can also be arranged. The dining room with two custom-made, seven foot, oak trestle tables seats 16 comfortably. The room can readily be rearranged to accommodate business meetings or seminars. After a day in the woods or on the water melt into the sofa in front of a roaring fire in the great room. Aptly named the Loonie Bin this room is home to embellished hunting stories and exaggerated tales of the one that got away. A corner of the room is devoted to card playing or as a rainy day focal point for games. Satellite television with a VCR and a CD stereo entertainment unit are also provided. Prepare yourself for a surprise when you first view the king size bed in this room! Designed and hand-crafted by an artisan in the hill country of Texas, this bed is sure to feature in your pleasant memories of your stay at the Lodge. Two hand crafted double beds anchor the decor in this bedroom. Soft lighting and the natural log walls give this room a cozy charm. During the daytime and into evening this room provides an area of natural light and lake breezes for reading or quiet reflection. At bedtime a queen size sofa sleeper (and if needed, single bed) turn this area into a comfortable bedroom.
