Description

Penmynydd comprises an entrance hall, a lounge room, a wet room, ground floor kitchen, two bedrooms, a study area and bathroom upstairs. All rooms are served with central heating. On the ground floor, has a walk-in shower, wash hand basin, WC and boiler cupboard. A well equipped, modern fitted room with a beamed ceiling including electric cooker, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dish-washer, dining table and chairs. A spacious lounge with a real oak floor contains a comfortable sofa, two relaxing armchairs, a TV with freeview, a log burning fire (a basket of logs is provided in winter months) and a large bay window. The oak staircase ascends from the lounge to the upstairs rooms.

Welcome to the website for Penmynydd cottage, a family owned self-catering holiday cottage deep in the heart of Pembrokeshire, West Wales. Penmynydd is a semi-detached house, part of an extended farmworker’s cottage, sited in the natural beauty of the Pembrokeshire National Park, near the village of Llanrhian. To the north is the harbour town of Fishguard and south St David’s with it’s famous Norman Cathedral. Penmynydd has a private drive, and ample parking space. It is a quiet location for those seeking peace and relaxation, the views of the Irish sea span 270 degrees. On clear evenings it is possible to pick out the famous Wicklow mountains and the starry skies are unpolluted by artificial light. Short journeys by car or the coast shuttle bus gives access to more adventurous activities,- horse riding, pleasure flights, island boat trips, go-carting, golf, quiet lanes for cycling, bird watching and a host of other pursuits - for more information see the "Things To Do Locally" tab in the sidebar.
