Sleeps: 6The Bach consists of 2 Studios that have been recently rebuilt and completely renovated. Situated on the waterfront at beautiful Kowharewa Bay on the Tutukaka coast. These magnificent world class beaches offer swimming, fishing, deep sea fishing, hiking, surfing, scuba diving the two sunken naval boats, the Tui and the Waikato or at the world renown Poor Knight Islands. The rolling hills and native trees meandering down the Northland coastline of Tutukaka has some of the best beaches in the world. From Kowharewa Bay over the hill to Matapouri and Whale Bay which is as pristine and unchanged as when Capt Cook sailed past all those years ago is as good as it gets. The beachfront Bach enjoys all day sun, being private surrounded by mature native trees with the front lawn at the waters edge and enjoys a spectacular view of the Bay and “Sugar Loaf” in the Poor Knight Islands. It is situated 21/2 hrs from Auckland (pop 1,000,000) and I/2 hr from Whangarei (pop 70,0000) It is known as the “winterless north”, the climate being subtropical and temperate. There are shops, fish and dive charters and restaurants at nearby Tutukaka (within walking distance - 1km).
