The whole area is excellent for walking with the historic Monarch's Way and a dramatic range of hills topped by Iron Age forts. Beaminster the nearest small town has a range of specialist shops. It is 9 miles to the shingle beach at Eype, from where you can walk over the cliffs to the beach at West Bay with its newly developed harbour, drive to Burton Bradstock for delicious hot chocolate!
