Breege and Tom Feneran would like to offer you a very big welcome and fálite romhat to our family home since 1975. The house, which was built by Tom, is situated in a secluded woody area with unmarred views of the Twelve Bens mountain range and 3 km from Clifden town centre. We are surrounded by vast native bogland and a small beech wood containing native wildlife and flowers. The Bog Road and Lough Fadda Road area in which we are situated offers terrific opportunities for getting away from the crowds with long walks deep into conservation landscape. In Connemara you are never far from the Atlantic Ocean, the 4 minute drive from Clifden to Lough Fadda House takes you along the coast road and only 2 kms further along you will start to encounter the first of many white sand beaches for which the area is famous. The route from Clifden to Ballyconneely and on to Roundstone contains some of the most unspoilt and cleanliest beaches in Ireland, Coral Bay, Dunloughin, Gurteen and Dogs Bay to name a few. On our doorstep lay a huge array of activities to keep every member of the family happy, from the easy things like walking, cycling, swimming, to the more adventurous such as sailing and windsurfing, scuba diving and sea adventure tours. There is also golfing and horse riding available for those that want to develop new skills or brush up on their old ones!
