Situated next to the top pond and waterfall, with views down through the oak woods to the bottom, small trout lake.
Lakeside is the largest of the cottages. It has a good sized open plan kitchen/living area, together with double and twin bedded rooms. There is a sofa bed in the living room. This means it can accommodate up to six people.
Outside there is a patio for BBQs or just relaxing and enjoying the sun. It is situated next to the top pond, water garden and waterfall and overlooks the oak woods. There is gated, private parking for two cars and has direct access to the woods and bottom lake.
Darrynane is the home of Angela and David Clark and family. It is situated in the sheltered Coombe Valley near St Breward on Bodmin Moor. Its idyllic setting boasts an ancient oak wood where mankind has lived for over two thousand years, a moorland river glade with a tumbling 25ft waterfall and two small trout ponds. There is abundant wildlife including squirrels, wild deer and numerous species of birdlife such as jays, woodpeckers, fire crests, bull finches and tree creepers.
