Let us welcome you into our 19th Century family home where the kettle is always boiling. Over a warming cup of tea or coffee, we will introduce you to the delights of Kilkenny. Our illustrated map will highlight historical buildings and heritage sites . . . . . and the best places to eat and drink where you can enjoy the "ceol agus craic", music and fun. Val and Tom. . . . we offer an excellent location, with a pleasant walk to the city, train and bus stations. If you are driving, we are easily found on the main Dublin Road with free, off street parking. Kilkenny Castle, with its splendid artefacts, gardens and Design Centre are an easy 10 minute stroll from Dunromin. Other marvellous attractions within one hour's drive are The National Stud and Japanese Gardens, The Dunbrody Emigrant Ship in New Ross, Rock of Cashel and Waterford Crystal. We have many maps, leaflets, brochures and guidebooks so slip off your shoes and enjoy a cup of tea while you plan your days out . . .do feel free to ask our advice. We are here to make your stay a success. We have five ensuite double bedrooms, each equipped with television, clock radio, hair dryer and comfy orthopaedic beds. Our sunny dining room is a lovely place for breakfast and we even offer a comfy lounge where you can relax at the end of a long, sight seeing day. Wi-Fi access available. Wake up to a choice of juices, five assorted cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts and cheeses and, of course, a wonderful full Irish platter of eggs, crispy bacon, buttery mushrooms, tomatoes and soda bread, all washed down with lashings of tea or coffee.
