Crake Valley is a small family run holiday park close to the picturesque holiday village of Coniston, with a maximum of ten static holiday caravans and five timber lodges all maintained in first class condition and set in lovely surroundings with a large variety of birds and wildlife.
The park is situated in an elevated position across from Coniston Water, which is only a short walk away, sheltered on three sides by mature oak trees, with views across to the Coniston Old Man mountain and surrounding fells, the park opens onto Blawith Common, which is an extensive area of wild and craggy moorland where you can wander at will, with lovely walks to Beacon Tarn and Torver.
It is an ideal base for touring the lakes, with all visitor attractions within easy reach, but a car is advisable to get the most out of your holiday. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead.
