South-west facing, the cottage is approached by steps leading to a wide covered terrace overlooking the pool with views across the valley and beyond, on a clear day, to the Pyrénées.

From the terrace double doors lead into the living room/kitchen with satellite TV (Freeview and news channels), CD player/radio. You will also find essentials such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, paper towel, salt & pepper, sugar, tea and coffee plus a complementary bottle of Gaillac wine for each week of your stay.

Separated by the living room are the two en suite bedrooms one with a large double bed and the other with twin beds. The beds will made up with white bed linen. Both bathrooms are tiled and fitted with a full size shower, wash basin and toilet. The washing machine is in one of the bathrooms. White towels and bathmats are supplied. There is a hairdryer, an iron and ironing board.

Bed linen, kitchen and bathroom towels are changed weekly. The adjoining sun terrace has spectacular views - the perfect place for outdoor meals and to enjoy an aperitif as the sun sets. There is a charcoal barbecue, a good sized dining table, chairs and sun beds for four. Both terraces have lighting. You will find a fridge with freezer in the adjacent pool plant room – handy for keeping drinks cool! There is also a cool box with ice packs, a clothes drier and sun parasols.

The saline swimming pool is 10m x 5m with Roman steps, 1.2m going down to 1.5m. You will have sole use of the pool, with plenty of space for sunbathing in this sunny area.

There is plenty of space to relax and explore. Climb to the top of the hill for fantastic views. The land is planted with vines, various trees including oak, cypress, pine, chestnut, fruit trees, grassland, wild flowers and herbs. Interesting wildlife and birds including birds of prey (buzzards, kites, kestrels, sparrow hawks) and a big favourite, the hoopoe.
