The edge of the village above the gorge of the river Doustre, which races down the valley to join the Dordogne just above Argentat. La Roche Canillac is located between Tulle and Argentat, and is one of the most beautiful of the villages in the area.

First floor sitting room with view to a stone tower the last remaining part of the chateau.
Bedroom 2 beds. Lobby with separate WC Stairs to the main bedroom. [double Bed]. Alongside the cottage is a store with access to the lane behind the property where there are two smaller buildings and a strip of uneven gravelled garden. The countryside around La Roche Canillac is very beautiful and varied, mostly wooded on the steep valley sides and with lakes on the plateau. The river Doustre is a “premier 1” trout river and many of the lakes have quantities of trout, pike, perch and huge carp. Other activities in the area. Walking, riding, canoeing, cycling, hang gliding, rock climbing, swimming etc.
The cottage vacation rental is classified 1 epie in “Gites de France” meaning simple but pleasant accommodation. Pillows and blankets provided, you must bring your own linen. [sheets towels pillow cases etc.] Parking in cul de sac in front of the cottage. Mobile reception is good.
