The Hayloft is a beautiful 17th Century barn with lovely original pegged oak beams, converted on the upper floors to accommodate five people for self catering holidays. In a peaceful and delightful setting of 64 acres of working farmland, and with fine views across the countryside, it is approached up a straight drive through former parkland, where horses and a small herd of pedigree Hereford cattle quietly graze, along with sheep and lambs in the Spring. The Hayloft self catering accommodation is very comfortable, tastefully furnished and well equipped. It has a fenced garden and plenty of car parking space.
On the first floor there is a large, open plan sitting/dining room with woodburning fire, TV, DVD, and a pine fitted kitchen with cooker, fridge, microwave, washing machine etc. This leads through to a double bedroom with a washbasin, and one twin bedded room. On the second floor there’s a balcony overlooking the living area below, one single bedroom and a bathroom with power shower and w.c. There is also an airing cupboard and linen is supplied. The owner’s farmhouse, the Old Coach House, is just across the courtyard. Also available we have a 1 bedroomed stable conversion, please contact for further info.
