The Riverbend, our only 1 bedroom cottage, is named so because of the beautiful view of a bend in the Kern river. The Riverbend Cottage is located near popular restaurants, the main grocery store, the Riverside Park and the Kern River. It is good for couples, solo adventures, business travelers, and families with small children. Please note that a 6% bed tax has been added to the nightly rate.

Would highly recommend!


We had such a great stay at the Riverbend Cottage! Jenny (out host) was very responsive and left clear and easy instructions to access the property. It is located walking distance to everything you need: restaurants, a brewery, the river and right next to a large convenience store. The property itself was super cute and equipped with all the essentials - including coffee! There is a full kitchen in the property and a grill outside with a fun outdoor sitting area. Would highly recommend!

This was the perfect place for our family of four and two dogs. It was clean, cozy and quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

This is perfect for couples.


This cottage is right in the heart of Kernville. It’s next to the mini mart (which has really good fried chicken) and gas stations. It’s close to restaurants and a brewery. It’s by the highway but it’s not noisy, so location is really convenient. The inside was very clean and cool. The HVAC is really good. The beds, sheets and towels are very fresh. They have stove and microwave, but no oven. It’s fine though because you can use the grill. This is perfect for couples.

Had an amazing time saw deer outside out front door, close to shopping but still feel like ur in your own little world away from everyone would highly recommend to anyone looking to getting away but not to far to still enjoy the comforts of home

Beds were all comfortable, extra towels, kitchen fully stocked, couch also perfect, bbq was ready to go, seats in front n back for watching the beautiful night stars Location perfect, next to a great market, that has organic n hot foods along with everything else you could need, easy check in and they let us check out late because no one was coming in the next day, it really helped us out
