Description

Our Hilltop Glamping Tents overlook our 3-acre lake with island and each come fully furnished with electricity and furniture, their own private bathroom and shower, a private propane fire pit, ice chest, & coffee station (coffee pot, cups, coffee, and filters). We also have a grill for guests to use during their stay. 
 
Additionally, space heaters, portable AC units, and electric blankets are provided for added glamping comfort. All rooms are fully set with luxurious bed linens, towels, and bathrobes.
 
Each tent can be set as one king or two XL twins and sleep a maximum of two people. 
 
All nightly bookings have access to our 384 sq ft Hilltop Art Studio to create at their leisure (art supplies not provided), access to our 31 ft tented Yoga Dome to practice lakeside yoga and meditation, and access to our Tropical Greenhouse Spa with saltwater pool, hot tub, and sauna.

The Lodge at Sweetwater Studios is a nature lover's retreat. Enjoy walking trails, the sounds of nature, and even the chance to connect with local Mississippi artists. 
 
Our 26-acre property features 6 white canvas tents in total, with private bathrooms and "rain fall" showers, a 3-acre lake with island, and our Tropical Greenhouse Spa with swimming pool, hot tub, and sauna.
 
Sweetwater Studios has been home to a family of artists for over 40 years. Specializing in stained glass, painting, and weaving, Sweetwater Studios artists have been featured on HGTVs popular show "Home Town" and showcased work in galleries and museums around the country. 
 
The Lodge at Sweetwater Studios hosts seasonal art and yoga retreats taught by local and nationally recognized visiting artists, meditation guides, and yoga teachers and practitioners. Visit out events page to learn more about our upcoming retreats.
 
Hosts live on sight and are available for local recommendations, safety concerns, or any additional guest needs.

Located just 20 minutes north of Hattiesburg and 30 minutes south of Laurel, The Lodge at Sweetwater Studios allows guests easy access to both towns while providing you a quiet nature retreat to return to after a long day of driving or sight seeing.
 
A car is essential to your visit at The Lodge at Sweetwater Studios. 
 
With dimly lit country roads, it's important to download our arrival map and driving directions before you begin your journey to our tent lodge.
 
We are located less than 20 minutes from the Hattiesburg-Laurel Regional Airport (PIB).

Highly recommend!


This place was absolutely gorgeous. A much needed reset. It was so peaceful and a lot of fun! We enjoyed being in our tent, sitting on the porch by the fire, swimming, access to the yoga dome, and even going into town on days when our tent got a little toasty. Check out the lucky rabbit, sopros, and south bound bagel and coffee if you stop into Hattiesburg. Everything thing about this trip was great. We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

The location is great. It’s out in the middle of nowhere but still close enough to go to the store if needed. Beds are super comfortable. We enjoyed the walking trails, kayaking, the pool and the hot tub. The pool was super cold and refreshing for being so hot.
