Description

This is a great place to get away and relax with the family. In the summer; there are fishing poles for the kids to fish in the pond, a playhouse, and a couple of kids and adult mountain bikes to ride. There is a deck and a fire pit for sitting around and laughing and telling stories, oh, and also for tasty smores. In the fall; we are close to hunting and have places to shoot for sighting in rifles. In the winter; there is good cross county skiing, sledding, if the weather has cooperated sometimes ice skating, a gorgeous wood fireplace for ambiance and lots of windows to watch the snow fall.  We are also about 30 min. from Terry Peak. The house sits on a well maintained gravel road,* 4 miles from Hwy 85, 15 min. from Deadwood, 20-25 min. from Sturgis and 30 min. from Spearfish.  If you have any questions or needs, just ask, we are right over the hill and happy to help!

Very remote, quiet setting. Lovely home.


Ideal for folks who don\'t mind a lot of stair climbing. No main floor bedroom. Our family of 20, ranging in age from 5 yrs to 76 yrs, had a great week. Thanks, Erica & John for being so helpful. Great way to celebrate our 50th anniversary with our kids and grandchildren.

Amazing Cabin, great way to get away from it all


Loved this cabin. My siblings (and their spouses and their families), and our parents (16 in all) were able to fit in to this cabin. We all loved it! It doesn\'t get cell reception so no one was tempted to take business calls or do work. We even had some extended family drop in for a meal and didn\'t need to do anything extra! It is a wonderful house and John and Erica are excellent hosts! Thank you so much!

This cabin was not only fantastic but it came fully equipped with everything to make our Family Bi-Annual Vacation incredible. Erica and John were outstanding with their help and concern to make sure that everything was perfect. My only real complaint was that the week passed by way to fast.
