We are offering this home for families to have an enjoyable and memorable vacation in a unique private setting, yet close to town. Additionally, there is abundant wildlife throughout. We have rented an additional home over the last year on with wonderful guests, which provides us the confidence to rent this home a few weeks a year.
For a few restrictions, the lower barn section of this home will be unavailable to protect the guests from heavy equipment and machinery required to maintain the pasture, garden and trails. There is NO HUNTING and NO FISHING on this property. The National Wildlife Department has visited the property and our goal is to increase the fish population in the stream and improve wildlife habitat. The maintenance crew periodically inspects and improves the trails for fallen timber and may cut the pasture during your stay (spring, summer and early fall). You will not be disturbed at the home and you will probably not even know they are on the land.
Once within the property, there is a fork in the road past the house and a sign with names leading to the right. Please refrain from entering this area of the property as two families have a “right of way” through our land to enter and exit their property, which they have owned for years. There is a tremendous amount of privacy on this property for you, family and friends to enjoy.
Maximum occupancy: 8 - Although the house comfortably accommodates 12, we are no longer renting this home to large groups.
