Enchanting Villa


Even more beautiful and comfortable than advertised. Have stayed in many villas around the world and Casa Carolina is in the top tier. Ambiance was perfectly matched to San Miguel and its colonial Mexican culture. Location could not have been better for easy access to just about everything one would want to enjoy in San Miguel. Totally safe, totally comfortable. The owners were most responsive to our smallest questions, but the real gem was our housekeeper/cook, Berta. Charming, efficient, very helpful in many ways. An amazing cook; responsive to all our culinary desires. We plan to return to Casa Carolina.

SMA Treasure!


The Casa is immaculate and tastefully designed. Roof view of the Parrochia is breathtaking! To top off perfection, the housekeeper is amazing and prepares delicious meals. You cannot find a more pleasing vacation spot in all of San Miguel de Allende!

Simply Fantastic!!


This property is perfect for all that San Miguel offers. The house is gorgeous, it is 2 blocks from the town square, has awesome view of the Parrocia, etc. We loved the entire 12 day stay and Berta is the BEST!!!! We will return!

Terrific in every way!


We had a wonderful time at Casa Carolina del Sur. The house is beautiful -- decorations, design, comfort, location... We loved the terraces, the flowers everywhere, the fact that every time we turned around needing something it was always there! Meeting and getting to know Berta was such a gift, and her smile will stay with us for a long time. It was so nice to be able to have a few breakfasts at the house and to just spend time relaxing. Francisco was a delight, too, and both he and Berta kept the place immaculate. I\'ve been going to San Miguel for many years and this was the best trip ever! Can\'t wait to return.

40th Friendship Anniversary


We are ready to go back...Casa Carolina de Sur was so comfortable and very convenient to the historic area of SMA...we simply loved it...we were treated so wonderfully by Berta, who was very kind and helpful during our stay...such a sweet lady. We will recommend Casa de Carolina de Sur to all my friends and family members who plan to visit SMA n the near future....thank you Jane and Robert for keeping such a beautiful house for visitors to enjoy...my husband also loved golfing at Malanquin Golf course...he hopes to try Ventanas next time.
