This recently renovated one-level house with 3 bedrooms and  2 full baths is located in a quiet part of coastal South Oceanside. It is just blocks from a local beach and many restaurants/shops. Conveniently located just 5 minutes from highway 5, it is the perfect location whether you want to enjoy the beach area, or visit major attractions including the Zoo, Seaworld, Legoland, or even Disneyland. 
 
As you enter the house, you will see an open floor design, with the main sitting area, kitchen, and dinning area all together . The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, dishes, glassware, utensils, coffee maker, blender, and let's not forget about the wine-opener! The family room has a comfortable sitting area with a 60 inch TV, all standard cable and local channels are provided (through Roku). Free Wi-Fi is also provided.
 
You can take advantage of the great year-round weather the area is known for on your private patio which includes a gas grill, outside furniture and two lounge chairs!!.
 
Two bedrooms have queen beds, while a third smaller bedroom has a full sized bed. Two full sized bathrooms, both with newly tiled stall showers, are available from all rooms (soap and shampoo provided). Sorry, no bathtubs. Fresh linens and towels are provided as well as hair dryers. In case you need to do any wash, the house has a large washer and dryer and detergent is also provided. 
 
To make sure you are comfortable, the renovations included central A/C. Although the beach areas are known for their moderate temps, hot weather can occur anytime of the year. Even during the winter! Should you need more space, please ask about additional rentals..
 
One private parking spot is provided on the back-side of the property. Although located just 50 feet from the house, you may find that it is easier to park on the street directly in front of the house. Since mostly locals live on the block, typically you will  find convenient spots even during the busy summer season. 
 
No vacation is complete without taking a short walk to the popular Buccaneer Beach to see the sunset or perhaps to take advantage of the park which has a great playground for children. If you go before noon (2pm on weekends) you have to visit “The Buccaneer Cafe” located just across the street from Buccaneer beach (PS - try the Loco Moco or award winning cheese burgers). 
 
If you just want to relax on the beach, beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, a beach cart, and kids sand toys are provided. 
 
One must do activity is to bike a few minutes north to downtown Oceanside, or South to the Village of Carlsbad. Two beach bike are provided, and upon request additional bikes including a child's bike, may be available (we do not provide helmets and it is illegal for anyone under the age of 18 to ride without a helmet so please bring one if needed).
 
If you will be visiting on a Thursday, you should plan on visiting the Oceanside Farmers Market in the morning or the popular Sunset Market every Thursday evening.
 
If there is a need for more than the small local shops, you can take a short 10 min drive to the “Carlsbad Outlet Mall”, or “The Forum Shops” located in nearby Encinitas. 
 
FYI, a small local market called “Primos” (very famous with the locals), is located just a few blocks away. You will be shocked to find they happen to have a great fresh meat counter in the back part of the store! 
 
For those with babies, I can provide a pack 'n play and booster seat if requested. 
 
- Amtrak, Metrolink and the Coaster operate close to beach properties from San Diego to Del Mar to Oceanside. The trains pass and sound their horns. The horns can be loud. The train is part of the package of being so close to the water and the beach.

We couldnt have been happier with our stay. Property was better in person and just blocks away from great restaurants and the beach. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful Family Vacation


We just left this rental, and we had the best time! The recently remodeled house was so clean and had absolutely everything we needed. The beds we comfortable (especially the one in the first bedroom), plenty of towels, and the garage was filled with anything we needed for beach time with the kids. There were bikes (of all sizes, even for my 6 year old), stroller, beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, and an awesome beach cart that helped get everything down there. The location of the house was great, one night we walked one block to Best Pizza and Brew, which was delicious, and we were just a short walk from the beach. The private yard was great for our dog. The train noise someone had mentioned was a nonissue for us, it didnt bother us as you can barely hear it. Warren made himself available if we needed anything, but we didnt! It was a perfect stay! Thank you again, Warren!

This location and property were ideal for our family. House is very clean and comfortable. The best part is it\'s location, we were able to walk to the beach and many great local restaurants. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back!
