Description

'CREEKSIDE BLISS' is a hand-hewn log cabin located alongside Cosby Creek in Cosby, Tennessee. This cabin is the 'perfect place' for family and friends to spend quality time together in a quiet retreat away from the stresses of everyday living. Come bring your fishing poles and catch your trout supper or just kick back, and build a fire creek side to roast your hot dogs and marshmallows. When the sun goes down, relax in the hot tub while gazing at the stars and listening to the crickets. You'll never want to leave!!!

The cabin is located close enough to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge to drive in for a day of sightseeing, yet far enough away to be able to unwind in a peaceful relaxing atmosphere. Our cabin is situated alongside beautiful Cosby Creek, our very own natural water feature! The soothing sounds and beauty of the creek is so relaxing you may find it hard to leave. 'CREEKSIDE BLISS' has most of the comforts of home, maybe more. We are located only minutes away from the Smoky Mountains National Park, Cosby Entrance. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are about 30-45 minutes from the cabin and Asheville and Cherokee, NC are only about 1 hour away. The cabin is comfortably furnished. The kitchen is equipped with stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker, dishes, flatware, pots and pans for your convenience. A Dining area seating 6 is convenient to the kitchen. The Living Room has an exposed beam ceiling with a ceiling fan . It also has a gas fireplace (newly updated 2014) for those cool mornings and evenings. It has comfortable furnishings for watching Cable TV (upgraded to flatscreen 2014) or a movie on DVD. This cabin features two bedrooms and two bathrooms with exposed beams. The Upstairs Bedroom has a queen bed. It also has a daybed and trundle that can be used for sleeping one or two extra quests. A ceiling fan offers air circulation great when heating or cooling. We added a bathroom upstairs in 2012. The Downstairs Bedroom has a queen bed and easy access to the Downstairs Bathroom. 'CREEKSIDE BLISS' has two covered porches for enjoying the fresh mountain air and scenery. The front porch has a porch swing and comfortable chairs. The back porch offers a HOT TUB, dining table and chairs and rocking chairs. The Park-Style Charcoal Grill is just off the back porch. The back porch overlooks Cosby Creek which is just a few steps away. There is also a Fire Pit located near the creek. There are no other cabins across the creek which provides privacy. Cosby Creek is a state stocked trout stream. 'CREEKSIDE BLISS' is the 'perfect place' to enjoy spending quality time with family and friends and for celebrating anniversaries, bithdays, honeymooning, holidays or vacations, or just a special weekend getaway. It is a wonderful place to kick back and enjoy the beauty of nature in a cabin with most of the conveniences of home. The cabin is privately owned and maintained.

This is a sweet simple little cabin in the woods.

The beds were comfortable, loved sitting on the back porch listening to the river! The steps are steep so probably not for small children or elderly, there is 1 bedroom downstairs. It was great for teenagers, they loved the loft!

Perfect Weekend Getaway!!!@

We absolutely loved our stay at Creekside Bliss.....It\'s a very clean cozy country cabin and was perfect for a much needed weekend getaway. We spent a lot of our time at the cabin grilling out, sitting by the fire pit at the creek and relaxing in the hot tub. Another added bonus was a afternoon rain shower and getting to hear it hit the tin roof....There is a cabin on each side but you still have plenty privacy. There are a few places to go eat that\'s a short drive and the ride into Gatlinburg was nice too....I will definitely book this cabin again!!!!!

Prescription for Stress Relief!

The cabin was wonderful! It was very clean, inviting, and peaceful. We fell in love with the outside. The service was amazing as well. We would definitely return!

Spring break in the Smokies!

We really enjoyed our stay here! It is located right next to a creek which the kids played in for hours. We were close enough to Gatlinburg to do a few of the touristy things but far enough away that you really feel like you\'re out in the woods. We had a thunderstorm while we were there and it was beautiful to sit on the covered porch and watch it. We enjoyed the hot tub and the rocking chairs on the porch. It got cool enough that we could also use the fireplace inside. Overall this is a very rustic and cozy little cabin! Just be aware that the walls are very thin, there is no insulation between the walls inside the cabin and you can hear everything in the other rooms and above on the upper floor. It wasn\'t an issue for us but it is different from other places I\'ve stayed so I wanted to mention it.

Awesome Weekend

We truly enjoyed our long weekend at the cabin. The creek that runs out back has some very delicious rainbow trout that we cooked on the grill. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay.
