This property has undergone major improvements over the years. in the recent past
I replaced all carpeting in the town home with tile, wood and Laminate flooring.  Four twin beds have been placed in the loft and small back bedroom.  Two full beds were placed in the master bedroom and One full be was placed in the back bedroom.  New lighting has been added to each downstairs bedroom. The unit now accomodates 10 people in beds.  
 
The kitchen was refurbished with new wood cabinet doors, a granite countertop, new sink and faucet.  A soap dispenser and water filter were added to the sink. The appliances have been upgraded with a range/oven, Dishwasher, and new refrigerator this year (2016). New washer and dryer were replaced two years ago.
 
The location is at the end of the street from the Bottle and Cork nightclub and two blocks from the Starboard Bar. It is short walk to everything Dewey Beach offers. And it is one and a half block to the Ocean; the bay and sunsets are viewable off any of the three decks in the front of the unit.  
 
There are two dedicated parking spots in front of the unit, an outside shower and a porch off the back bedroom provides a cool spot for relaxing after the beach sun.  The unit is available for partial weeks, weekends, and weekly rentals.  Also the unit is not available year round. Rental season is circa 15 May to 15 September and I usually winterize the property in late October or early November.
 
The unit will have a wifi system in it during the season.  A key access lock box is installed on the frame of the front door.  It will be disarmed during your stay. A phone is no longer provided, since most folks are using cells and telemarketers are a nuisance to those on vacation.   A new 42 inch LCD TV has been wall mounted on the Main deck and new flat screen TVs are located in on each floor.  There are pictures on the web site to more accurately reflect the current changes. Dining room chairs were replaced with metal chairs last year and a new dining room table is plsnned for next year.

Terms & Conditions

I temporally block your time and send you a one page contract. You usually have 10 days to review and sign the contract and return it to me with one half of the rental amount in the form of a personal check. Your time is now unblocked and reserved for you. There is no booking or service fee. As your time to go nears, I send you two documents - House rules and house updates. The balance of your rental amount is to be paid one month prior to your arrival. If you fail to send the balance at that time, I will call you and access your status and mine. If I can re-rent the time, I will return one half of your original deposit. If I can not re-rent the time, I will retain your total original deposit. The more time you give me to re-rent the unit the better for me and for you. If you wanted to cancel 90 days prior to arrival, I would return one half of your deposit. If you gave me 120 days notice to cancel, I would return 75 percent of your deposit.

a three night minimum stay is required and the nightly weekend rate is defined as any three nights betweein Thursday and Sunday at the per night rate of 650.00 for a total amount of 1950.00.  If a renter wanted a fourth night over the weekend, the fourth night would at the mid-week nightly rate of 421.00

amazing home! wonderful weekend!


I stayed at Baywinds 5 with 9 other girls for a long weekend. The house was roomy and very clean. Fred was very helpful by meeting us to go over everything in the house and even checked up on us during our stay. I highly recommend staying here. Perfect location- walking distance to the beach and many restaurants/bars. Thanks for everything Fred! Hopefully we can book again with you soon!!

Great location ! Clean and spacious


Stayed a long weekend for my cousins bachelorette. When we arrived Thursday afternoon Fred was there to greet us and show us around. Great location - walking distance to the beach and many bars/restaurants ! The house was very clean. Spacious living/dining area to hang out, it was also nice to sit out on the balconies ! Plenty of space for sleeping. Would recommend and would definitely stay again !

Amazing location!! Amazing Condo!!


Fred and his condo were fantastic! He met us to do a walk through of everything we would need to know about the place and answer any questions we had. The condo has been updated and is larger and better overall than the pictures reflect. The location cannot be beat - right down the street from all of the great Dewey spots (Bottle & Cork, Jimmy\'s, Starboard, North Beach, etc). But you can\'t hear any of the noise from those places at the condo. Beach is just one more block - so easy to get to! We will definitely book this space again for our next Dewey trip! Thanks Fred!!

Spacious in a great location


The house was plenty big for nine of us (six adults and three kids). The balcony overlooking the bay was a nice place to sit and enjoy the view. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware. The living room and dining room were open to kitchen. Furniture and beds were comfortable. Fred was very friendly and gave us a complete tour of the house and was open to answering any questions. He had plenty of cleaning supplies as well as laundry detergent. The walk to the beach on the ocean was two blocks and food and entertainment was all within a few blocks. We all agreed that we would stay here again.

Great Location, Property, and Weekend


Stayed here with a group of 10 guys for a long weekend. House was everything we wanted; clean, spacious, and location. Fred went the extra mile to go over everything in the house upon arrival and answer any questions. I would highly recommend staying at this condo, it is close to everything in Dewey Beach.
