Description

The farm has a 30 year history in the family. When we bought it, was only a 3 rooms house and one of the rooms, was the house for the donkey. We came to live in a place that was no more than a small cabin.
 
During the years we have been working on improvements by investing all our spare remunerations of our professional activity.
 
We have now a pleasant and relaxing place. However, our project is not yet finished. We need your help. Come and visit us, bring your family and friends.
 
The space
Our place is a family farm where we live. On the site it has the main house (villa) with 5 bedrooms, accommodating 10 people and 4 small independent cottages that can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. Each cottage has a living area with kitchenette, one bedroom, bathroom with shower and an outdoor patio. The villa and the cottages have all the necessary equipment for your daily needs, including air-conditioning. A perfect place for a calm holiday. Located in the central Algarve in magnificent country side deep in the heart of the orange groves, but only 15 minutes drive to the beach and surrounding attractions. (Armação de Pera) Praia Grande, Praia dos Salgados, Senhora da Rocha and others. Also near to the Zoomarine, Aqualand Park and several water parks, Krazy World (animal park, mini golf, swimming-pool. Restaurant and pool bar ) and Fiesa (the sand sculptures). These attractions provide a perfect day out for the whole family. If you want a calm but entertaining holiday, this is the ideal place for families or groups.
 
Guest access
The outside area of the cottages, has its own outdoor patio which gives access to the common garden with lawns and trees where you can relax and children can play safe. Toys and bicycles available plus some games. The 12 meters salt water swimming-pool with cascading water edge, is one of the main attraction of the site. By the pool you have sunbeds, sunshades, and pergolas, You can choose to be in the shade or in the sun. From the cottage patio you still can keep an eye on your children in the pool. Private free parking. The property with a size of 12.000m2, has lots and lots of space and includes trees, horses and other animals. You can relax in the spacious gardens, have picnics or bbq´s as often as you like.
 
Interaction with guests
On request, we can organize activities, such as: walking, bicycling (trekking) and massages. A surfing experience can also be arranged on request.
 
Other things to note
We feel that the facilities on offer at our farm will suit people from all walks of life especially for those needing a holiday away from the pressures of daily life back home. Our farm is calm, peaceful and relaxing as well as the location being central in the Algarve.

Omg. This place is amazing. As soon as you walk on the property, you will feel relaxed. Maria took care of all of our needs (including a beach umbrella and lots of holding our baby). She really made a wonderful space to just slow down and enjoy the Algarve. It can be a little hard to find, but that makes walking with the horses through orange groves at sunrise even better.
