If you choose our “Bottling Room” we will receive you in the main building of the former Benedictine monastery. It is a two or three person studio on the ground floor. It is facing the former stables. These stables are currently set up as a “brocante” shop, that opens its doors for you one day every week. In the courtyard, you can see the half doors that remind us of the time that horses could look out through the top half. The Bottling room has these funny doors as a bonus. They serve as shutters at your front door. You close them the moment you want to shut out the outside world. The Bottling room is the apartment that has an original 12th century arched ceiling throughout the entire space. On the left, you will find the twin bed with 2 mattresses and on the right the dining table with country chairs and the kitchen with the hard stone top plate. You will find all ‘tools’ to prepare your breakfast and lunch. But also for dinner, on Tuesday and Friday when our restaurant is closed. From your kitchen window, you can see the baker lay the freshly baked bread in the “bread chest” in the morning. On the east side of the bottling room, you step through a sliding door on to your own terrace. The morning sun is waiting for you there. It is equipped with a cozy round table and comfortable chairs. You can enjoy a glass of wine here together, in the evening before bedtime. Or just enjoy the starry sky. On your terrace, you look out over the hills of the Cevennes and the 40 hectares of private forests and sources of the Mas Blanc. They ensure that you find the absolute peace that we (in part) owe our reputation to. The bottling room has enough space to place an extra bed.
In the evening (in the spring and autumn around the fireplace and in the summer under the chestnut tree) guests enjoy the dinner that our cook has prepared with fresh products 5 days a week. The reputation, "delicious light meals". Our prices, € 19.95 (children € 10, -) for the three-course menu is called "inversely proportional to the quality offered". We gladly take into account your dietary requirements. You dine with your partner or family at the border of our romantic pond: on your own terrace or you join the Table d’Hôte.
