Description
The Chapel is located in the heart of the former Benedictine monastery. Through the courtyard and a few steps of the wide cloister stairs, you step into your apartment.
With two large windows, where the morning sun awakens you and the glass door to your own outdoor terrace, this is our stay with most daylight. The ancient old floor with its tiles in the colors brick red, ocher and off-white stand out immediately. On the right, you have the bathroom with sink, toilet, and shower.
Opposite, behind the small doors, is space to hang and/or lay your clothes. The playful coat rack is made of wood and twigs from our own forest. If you walk on, you will see the simple kitchen block with marble worktop on the right. You will find all ‘tools’ to prepare your breakfast and lunch. But also for dinner, on Tuesday and Friday when our restaurant is closed, there are ample utensils.
On the left, you see the sleeping and dining area of the studio: the double bed measures 160x200cm. Between the brick red dining table with four chairs and the rattan seat, you will find the door to your own terrace. Step outside and look (just like Abt’s father at the time) from the west to the east over the 40 hectares of Mas Blanc land and the hills behind the Cevennes national park. In the distance, you can see the contours of Mont Ventoux. In this apartment, there is more than enough room for a third bed. Often this apartment is chosen together with the directly adjacent Blue Room. There is then room for 4 to 5 people.
In the evening (in the spring and autumn around the fireplace and in the summer under the chestnut tree) guests enjoy the dinner that our cook has prepared with fresh products 5 days a week. The reputation, "delicious light meals". Our prices, € 19.95 (children € 10, -) for the three-course menu is called "inversely proportional to the quality offered". We gladly take into account your dietary requirements. You dine with your partner or family at the border of our romantic pond: on your own terrace or you join the Table d’Hôte.
