Description

Whether you enjoy playing on the beach or a golf course, Captain’s Choice is your centrally located home away from home. Enjoy the ocean breezes on one of two decks, the lower having a partial view and the upper having a full view of the ocean. With 5 spacious bedrooms, there’s plenty of room for the entire family without feeling crowded. There are two bedrooms on the main level, which share a bath. These bedrooms are separate from the living area so noise from the living area won’t be a bother. Two bedrooms upstairs share a jack-and-jill bath.  The master is also upstairs and has a king-size bed with a private bath. Each bedroom has its own flat screen TV in addition to the large flat screen TV in the living room. There are 3 DVD players and free WIFI access.  A well-appointed kitchen and large dining area allows you to create your own meals and sit down to dinner as a family. If cooking on vacation is not your thing, Captain’s Choice is only a block away from the Surfside Pier so enjoy an evening out at one of the restaurants located at the pier. Like to go a little further without taking out the car? A golf cart comes free when you rent the Captain’s Choice and it is an easy drive to many other restaurants around town (there may be times when it is not available due to the need for service or damage from other renters). There is also a hot tub located under the house and enclosed for privacy. It is great for working out those kinks after a day of golf or to just unwind at the end of the day. The property offers a full-size pool and a BBQ grill. For a minimal fee, you may request the pool be heated during limited months (please call or email for exact dates).
 
There are plenty of nearby activities - a water park, banana boat and jet ski rentals, shopping, bowling, laser tag, putt-putt and shows to name a few. You will also find dozens of restaurants within walking distance or a short drive away. There are too many great golf courses to name that are within a 15-minute drive.
 
Rates include all fees including departure cleaning and use of the golf cart. Linens are not included (all bedrooms have pillows, blankets and bedspreads) in the rental rates, but we are able to make linen arrangements for you for an additional fee. We offer a concierge service that will stock the fridge, arrange bicycles, beach chairs or umbrella rentals and much more at rates that are quite reasonable. What are you waiting for? My family and I completely enjoyed our stay at captain\'s choice The house was amazing had everything we needed. The location was wonderful close to the beach and to stores. It us so relaxing and great place to do a vacation. I would recommend this property and area to anyone. The rooms were big and enough room for everyone in my party.

Thanksgiving Visit


Great home for an off season visit. The heated pool was warm and the hot tub bubbly. Walking distance to the beach and all of the local watering holes. Family had a great visit and Alan was attentive to the small issues that arose. I highly recommend.

The house was in a good location.


The house was in a good location. It is close to the beach and close to some restaurants within walking distance. The house was nice also. Golf cart was nice to have for going places around the house.

Great location and nice house


Our house was so close to Surfside Pier. We walked two blocks to the beach everyday. Surfside was so much nicer for families than Myrtle Beach area. There was 12 of us and we never felt like we were unsafe. The house was nice and we had everything we needed. Pool area landscape could use a little TLC. The golf cart was a bonus that everyone enjoyed. We will be returning again to this area for more family vacations.

The house was very nice and felt like home.


We had a family of 12 that stayed in the house and we had plenary of room. We never had any problems with anything. We had a great atmosphere and surf side was great for a family vacation. Alan was very helpful with everything from the me booking to answering any questions while we were there. I couldn’t of been happier with our stay.
